Orthokine PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a preparation of autologous concentrated platelets (thrombocytes) that offer a rich source of useful growth factors. It is used to accelerate tissue healing in horses.
PRP PROCESSING
A blood sample is taken from the patient. During a special preparation method blood platelets (thrombocytes) are selected and highly concentrated. These thrombocytes contain growth proteins. Injecting the cells into an affected site the proteins can display their full potential.
